Sow Exotic is a tropical plant nursery growing rare and exotic fruiting and medicinal plants. For this project, I photographed their various fruits and plants for print magazine WH Mag.

For this assignment, I was given the art direction to photograph Sow Exotic’s plants on seamless, colored paper.
I approached this concept with a minimal mindset. I chose colored paper that contrasted the natural color of the product and arranged the plants and fruits in balanced patterns.
This project was greatly influenced by Florida's vibrant and natural colors and evolved into one of my favorite assignments.
